The upper is made of chrome‑free leather and the inserts are also chrome‑free leather; the sole consists of 40 % Amazon rubber, 23 % mineral silica, 10 % recycled rubber, 11 % synthetic rubber and other materials for the remaining 16 %. The insole is crafted from 11 % Amazon rubber, 45 % bio‑based E.V.A. (of which 36 % is derived from sugarcane), 13 % recycled E.V.A., 5 % organic cotton and other materials for 26 %. The lining is 100 % recycled polyester and the laces are 100 % organic cotton. The product is entirely made in Brazil; the bovine leather comes from southern Brazil and Uruguay and is tanned locally in workshops selected for their high environmental standards, without the use of harmful components for health or the environment, with dyes complying with current regulations and careful water‑consumption management during tanning.
