VEJA volley leather

The Volley draws inspiration from Brazilian volleyball shoes of the 1970s; the upper is crafted from leather with organic processing (O.T.) and the inserts are made of leather with organic processing (O.T.) and suede leather. The insole combines Amazonian rubber at 11 % with 45 % bio‑based EVA (of which 36 % is derived from sugarcane), 13 % recycled EVA, 5 % organic cotton and other materials at 26 %. The outsole consists of 40 % Amazonian rubber, 23 % mineral silica, 10 % recycled rubber, 11 % synthetic rubber and other components at 16 %. The lining is entirely recycled polyester, the laces are 100 % organic cotton, and the product is wholly made in Brazil. The bovine leather comes from southern Brazil and Uruguay, tanned locally in selected workshops known for their high environmental standards, without the use of harmful substances for health or the environment, using dyes that comply with current regulations and careful water‑consumption management during tanning.
