VEJA volley leather

The Volley draws inspiration from 1970s Brazilian volleyball shoes; the upper is crafted from leather with organic processing (O.T.) and the inserts are made both of leather with organic processing (O.T.) and suede leather; the inner sole consists of Amazonian rubber for 11 % of the total, bio‑based EVA for 45 % (with 36 % derived from sugarcane), recycled EVA for 13 %, organic cotton for 5 % and other materials for 26 %; the outer sole contains Amazonian rubber for 40 %, mineral silica for 23 %, recycled rubber for 10 %, synthetic rubber for 11 % and other components for 16 %; the lining is entirely recycled polyester, the laces are 100 % organic cotton, and the product is wholly made in Brazil; the bovine leather comes from southern Brazil and Uruguay, is tanned locally in selected workshops known for their high environmental standards, without the use of harmful health or environmental components, using dyes that comply with current regulations and careful water‑consumption management during tanning.
